Well, ladies, we all try to look our best but some of us are unaware that looking good doesn’t involve only clothes. You see, it’s not just about matching colors and styles with your body type. First you need a base – a good bra that will shape the breasts and make all that tops and dresses fit perfectly. Off course, finding the right size bra is not only important for the looks but for health too. You have to have a bra that will be supporting and comfortable so the right bra is the one that is soft but not too soft – you want your breasts to be lifted and shaped, not crunched inside a size or two smaller bra.

So, let’s go through some of the reasons for which you need to measure your bra size carefully and use that as a guideline when shopping for a bra.

1. Back problems – If your cup size can be classified as “large or larger” you probably know what I’m talking about. Without the right size bra, breasts can become a painful burden. Hunched back and hanging cleavage are not a pretty sight, right? Ladies with large bra size need support more than anything so, for everyday wear, underwired bras with wide straps are a must. Choosing not just the right size but also the right cup and bra style will not only do wonders to you looks- your back pains will be gone also.

2. Breast tissue health – Some women think that wearing a size smaller bra will make their breasts appear bigger, but various medical studies actually proved that wearing smaller or over-padded bras can injure the soft breast tissue. So, if you feel your breasts aching when you take off your bra, measure your bra size again and next time you go shopping, get the right size bra. It will look just as good and maybe even better and the most important – you are taking care of your health in the long run.

3. Appearance – Here I’m not talking about what others can see – I’m talking about what only you can see. Like droopy boobs and stretch marks caused by a loose bra. When it comes to boobs, gravity is not a friend, and no matter what we do they will become saggy sooner or later, right? Well, as far as I’m concerned, later is always a better option. So, once you find your bra size, pick a bra that will look good and provide support. Your breasts will appreciate that and you’ll manage to keep them perky longer.
